1.5” standard plastic chain is made with UV protectant added to retard fading and to maintain the integrity of the material. The colors will not fade outdoors in direct sunlight, and the plastic chain will not become brittle. It is made out of high density polyethylene and is formulated to contain no lead or phthalates. It is strong and durable. The tensile strength for the 1.5” plastic chain is 140 lbs. and the 30 day load bearing test results are 15 lbs.
It is extremely versatile and can be used where ever a strong, dependable chain is needed. It goes nicely along walkways and flowerbeds. It has even been used in several large zoos as a door for aviaries.
