ADJ’s Hydro Spot 2 is an IP65-rated professional moving head luminaire powered by a potent 320-Watt cool white LED engine. It offers an impressive 15,000 lumen output while featuring a wide variety of beam shaping tools to provide lighting designers with almost limitless creative potential. Its features include motorized zoom (8 to 41-degrees) and focus; two frost filters; CMY color mixing, variable CTO flag and independent color wheel; two GOBO wheels (one fixed, one rotating and replaceable); two rotating prisms (6-facet circular and 5-facet linear); and an animation wheel.
Harnessing the power of a high output 320-Watt cool white LED engine, focused through precision-engineered optics, the ADJ Hydro Spot 2 is a powerful and versatile professional moving head luminaire. It combines an expansive feature set with a robust IP65-rated construction to deliver a fixture that is ideal for temporary event production both indoors and outside in any weather. It is also suitable for permanent installation within all kinds of venues, from concert halls to nightclubs, theatres to churches, where its sealed casing design protects its internal components from dust and grime to allow for a reduced maintenance schedule and prolonged operational life expectancy.
Motorized zoom allows the fixture’s beam angle to be altered between a tight 8-degrees and wide 41-degrees, while two frost filters can also be applied to soften the beam edges and further widen the beam angle. The medium frost filter is designed to lightly blur the edges of GOBO/prism effects, while the heavy frost filter allows the fixture to be used for wash lighting duties. An almost limitless spectrum of colors can be generated by the fixture thanks to CMY color mixing, while a separate variable CTO flag allows for color-corrected white light output. In addition, a color wheel is also provided with seven dichroic color filters, including CTB and High CRI options.
The Hydro Spot 2 offers two independent GOBO wheels, one with 8 static patterns and the other with seven rotating and replaceable GOBOs (either aluminum or glass). Motorized focus can be used to ensure patterns remain sharp across varying projection distances while dynamic effects can be produced using the integrated animation wheel. Wider surface projection and aerial beam effects can be generated using a choice of two indexed, rotating prisms: 5-facet linear or 6-facet circular. Finally, the fixture’s 15,000 lumen white light LED engine allows for smooth 0-100% digital dimming (with a choice of modes and curves) as well as variable speed strobe effects.
